Counselling and Psychotherapy
As a Person-centred therapist my focus is on each, unique person I meet. Together we can work with whatever it is you bring to therapy. We will negotiate a contract/way of working that is tailored to you.
Depending upon what you need/want/bring we can decide on the number of sessions and manner in which we work.
I work online in a number of ways:
Video sessions - these are face to face sessions using video conferencing technology. I will endeavour to create the same kind of safe, calm environment online that we would have in person. Depending on your experience of working in this way, we can talk about ways to achieve this. We can negotiate the amount and regularity of sessions to meet your individual circumstances.
Asynchronous text-based therapy - regular scheduled email communication, using therapeutic and expressive writing techniques.
