Welcome to my website. I am an experienced, BACP Accredited Therapist providing counselling, psychotherapy and Clinical Supervision Online .
I find working online very liberating as it allows me to reach clients and supervisees I wouldn't otherwise have met.
Similarly my clients appreciate being able to engage in therapy from a place of their choosing at a time that suits them.
For more information about the pros and cons of online therapy please read here
I have undertaken advanced training in online therapy.
I work online in a number of ways:
Video sessions - these are face to face sessions using zoom. In these sessions I create the same safe, calm environment online that we would have in person. Depending on your experience of working in this way, we can talk about ways to achieve this. We can negotiate the amount and regularity of sessions to meet your individual circumstances.
I have availability for new online clients Monday to Thursday at various times. My last session starts at 6pm.
Asynchronous text-based therapy - this is regular scheduled email communication, using therapeutic and expressive writing techniques. This type of therapy is suitable for people who are comfortable with communicating in writing and who like the flexibility of not being confined to specific session times.
Counselling / Psychotherapy
Are you looking for somewhere safe and confidential where you can explore questions about your self and your life with an experienced, qualified, professional?
Or perhaps you have undergone a difficult experience and need help to make sense of it.
As a Person-centred counsellor I am committed to providing counselling and psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment. I work with you to enhance your life and to live it more fully.
For more information about what this means, my experience, qualifications and fees please see my section on Counselling and Psychotherapy .
I am a qualified, experienced Supervisor and provide individual and group supervision to Counsellors, Psychotherapists and other professionals.
I am able to draw on my own experience of counselling within private practice and organisations to support a wide range of supervisees, from trainee to seasoned practitioner.
Not all helping roles or professions come with a requirement for Clinical Supervision but I have found that those who work with or care for others, benefit hugely from a space to safely and confidentially explore their work and the impact it has on them.
